Starting therapy should feel clear and simple. Here’s what the process looks like:
1. Schedule a Gentle First Call
Reach out through the contact form or schedule a brief consultation call.(https://calendly.com/kelseapelletier) This is a low-pressure conversation to ask questions and get a sense of whether working together feels right.
2. Confirm the Fit
If it feels like a good match, we’ll discuss next steps, scheduling, and any questions about logistics, fees, or insurance.
3. Complete New Client Information
You’ll receive secure intake forms and any required documentation to complete before your first session.
4. Begin Ongoing Sessions
From there, we begin the work, at a pace that feels steady, thoughtful, and aligned with your goals.
Therapy at 46 & 2 is often a good fit for people who feel deeply, think a lot, and are tired of living in constant survival mode. Many clients come in feeling burned out, disoriented, or disconnected from meaning, even if things look “fine” from the outside.
A free consultation call offers a low-pressure way to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide whether it feels like a good fit.
A Gentle First Call is a brief, no-pressure conversation where we can talk about what you’re looking for, how I work, and whether moving forward together feels right. It’s not therapy and there’s no obligation, just a chance to connect and ask questions.
My approach is nervous-system-aware, relational, and meaning-oriented. I integrate parts work (including Internal Family Systems–informed practices), somatic awareness, and existential exploration. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we work toward understanding patterns, reconnecting with your inner experience, and supporting meaningful change at a pace that respects your nervous system.
Yes. I provide secure online therapy to clients located in states where I am licensed, including Montana, Idaho, Washington, Texas, and Florida. Clients must be physically located in one of these states at the time of each session.
The name 46 & 2 comes from a metaphor about growth, awareness, and becoming, the idea that meaningful change often involves turning inward, shedding old patterns, and integrating parts of ourselves that have been overlooked or suppressed. While the name carries symbolic meaning, the work itself remains grounded, practical, and rooted in everyday life.
